There are a set of spiritual instructions common to all religions, regardless of time, place or accepted interpretation. Even in a non-spiritual context, the act of spring cleaning is universal. These lyrics are about spring cleaning, as was the very action of writing about it.
ReplyDeleteI find the second verse so empowering and moving Jeff! We all are the child who must at some point step forward, into that place of self realisation/action. How lovely that the moon; reflective and mystical and the sun ~ full of strengthening light, are our guides. The continual polarity of action and reflection. The checking- in places of love and trust. Growth; ever ascending, to that final reclamation ~ we surrender to love...and become whole in our re ~ creation, no shame ~ and harming none... "Do what you will". Bravo!
